A passion for telling stories
As a rising Gen Z author, I am driven by a passion to empower and connect with others, especially younger readers, to pass on the baton of inspiration to find and use their voices.
From humble beginnings
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been writing stories. I believe that we have stories to share – it’s beautiful and it doesn’t matter where you’re from or how your life turns out. You can be an “ordinary person” and still have so many things to show to other people.
Connecting with my Asian community and roots
Growing up in Chicago’s Chinatown, I’ve had the opportunity to have been a featured speaker at the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, Girl Scouts events, book fairs, Asian writer’s webinars, and other events.
Work featured throughout the community
Published in May 2022 during AAPIH Month, my debut novel “Not Just a Simple Chinese Girl” was featured on Chicago’s NBC 5 News, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, and the Chicago Public Libraries.
